Sur Industrial Estate holds evacuation exercise

SUR: Sur Industrial Estate, which falls under the umbrella of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), organised an exercise for emergency evacuation and fire management in cooperation with the Civil Defence Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. The exercise was held as part of the estate’s plan to develop and enhance the safety and security of the estate and the operating companies and factories. The event included a practical training of a fire scenario in the estate’s administration building, where the employees were evacuated to the safe assembly point. The event also included a lecture on how to deal with the outbreak of fire incidents, and types of fire extinguishers used according to the incidents. — ONA
