Bank Sohar names new chief executive

The Board of Directors of Bank Sohar on Sunday announced the appointment of Ahmed al Musallami as the Chief Executive Officer, effective from May 20. 'Al Musallami has over 20 years of extensive banking experience. His last position held was that of the chief executive officer of the National Bank of Oman. He holds Master of Business Administration with distinction, from the University of Bedfordshire – UK in addition to other degrees and professional certificates.  The board wishes Al Musallami every success in his journey with the bank,' a statement filed in Muscat Securities Market (MSM) said.
