Mekunu: Evacuation from Hallaniyat Islands begins

The National Committee for Civil Defence's (NCCD)  sub-committee has started the evacuation of people from Hallaniyat Islands to Shaleem following a cyclone forecast for Friday and Saturday. The evacuation is carried out with the participation of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), a statement released on Wednesday said.
