Education Ministry discusses storm

Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, presided over an emergency meeting of the Central Crisis Management Committee in the presence of Saud bin Salim al Balushi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education for Planning and Human Resources Development, to discuss the tropical situation that the Sultanate is expected to face during the weekend. The meeting reviewed status of schools, and the proposed alternatives, particularly examination for (5-11) classes, as well as the General Education Diploma during the coming week.
