RNO Vessels Support Efforts of Other Sectors in Dhofar

Muscat, May 27 (ONA) --- A number of vessels of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) sailed from Said bin Sultan Naval Base and Sultan Qaboos Port to the Governorate of Dhofar as part of the continuous efforts and services provided by the Ministry of Defense and the Sultan's Armed Forces to support other sectors in the country and serve citizens and residents during Mekunu Cyclone in the Governorate of Dhofar. This step aims for the search and rescue, survey affected sea areas and providing support to relief teams in the governorate in terms of maritime relief operations and hydrographic surveys when needed, as well as medical support.
