Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, visited Dhofar on Monday and reviewed the damages caused by the tropical Cyclone Mekunu. Gen Al Numani praised the steady efforts made by the Ministry of Defence, the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and other organisations to restore conditions to normality. He was accompanied by Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO).
