Hutchison Ports Sohar honours young Omani achievers

As part of its efforts of local talent development, Hutchison Ports Sohar sponsored the felicitation of 35 young achievers across all Sohar schools. Albert Pang, CEO of Hutchison Ports Sohar appreciated the students with certificates and gifts. The felicitation programme was arranged under the auspices of Directorate General of Education in the Governorate of North Al Batinah. With a rapid growth in a short period, education and training play a key role in the Sultanate’s long term development plan. In the view of gradual economic transformation and diversification of the country, it is important to motivate and equip the young Omani’s with skills required to succeed in a knowledge-based economy.
