Ahli Sidab volunteers join relief efforts in Dhofar

The volunteers of Ahli Sidab Club took part in the state of emergency during and after Cyclone Mekunu in Dhofar Governorate. The team arrived in Salalah on Friday morning and spent three days clearing the drainage channels, distributing food and water at the shelter centres in cooperation with the OCCI’s (Salalah branch) team. On Saturday and Sunday, the team took part in the repair and rehabilitation efforts. The team members worked diligently in many areas removing the debris, cleaning the roads and providing all sorts of support to citizens and residents before returning back to Muscat.
