HM thanked by Azerbaijan leader

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received a cable of thanks from President Dr Ilham Heydar Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable on the occasion of him being elected as a president of the Republic. In his cable, President Aliyev expressed his thanks for His Majesty’s greetings and best wishes, stressing the importance of promoting the friendly relations and cooperation between the Sultanate and Azerbaijan to serve the interests of their peoples.
