Third at Arab level on cyber security

TALLINN: The Sultanate ranked third at Arab level for National Cyber Security Index, which was prepared by the e-Government Academy in Estonia. The Sultanate ranked 61st in the world, with 32.47 points and third at Arab level after Qatar and Egypt. France topped the index, followed by Germany, Estonia, Slovakia, Finland and Lithuania. This index measures the readiness of countries to prevent cybercrime threats and their strategy to manage cybercrime and cyber offences on a large scale.
