MSM trading value rises by 24.5pc

BUSINESS REPORTER - MUSCAT, JUNE 5 - Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 yesterday added 7.21 points, comprising a rise by 0.16 per cent to close at 4,592.16 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4,584.95 points. The trading value yesterday stood at RO 2,655,795, comprising a rise by 24.5 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 2,133,063. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.010 per cent to reach about RO 17.53 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 356,000 comprising 13.42 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 714,000 comprising 26.88 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 13.46 per cent to RO 357,000.
