Sultanate condemns Kabul bombing

Muscat: The Sultanate on Wednesday strongly condemned the suicide bombing that targeted the headquarters of a group of Afghan Muslim scholars west of the Afghani capital Kabul, which led to the death and injury of a number of people. A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry affirmed the Sultanate’s solidarity with Afghanistan and supporting its good endeavours to achieve peace, security and stability and rejected all forms of violence and terrorism. The Sultanate expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to families of the innocent victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
