MOHE suspends study programme at Abu Dhabi

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has issued a clarification on reports about the the suspension of a study programme at the University of Abu Dhabi. A statement from the Committee for the Recognition of Non-Omani Higher Education Institutions has taken a decision not to recognize a course on 'educational qualification programme' from Abu Dhabi University as it does not have a College of Education. This decision is part of the efforts to regulate the process of obtaining educational qualification to meet the national needs of educational disciplines in the Sultanate.
