Heat likely to hit 45 degrees in Muscat

Muscat: A noticeable rise in temperatures was witnessed in the range of mid to late 40 degrees across the Sultanate on Friday, according to Oman Meteorology. The met has urged people to avoid direct exposure to sunlight to evade sun stroke. The met expects temperatures to be 45 degrees in Muscat, 43 in Khasab, 31 in Salalah, 47 in Nizwa, 44 in Suhar, 47 in Buraimi and 47 in Ibri on Saturday.
