DHOFAR SEES EARLY KHAREEF: Autumn has come early in the Governorate of Dhofar due to the heavy rain associated with the Cyclone Mekunu. The governorate’s mountains, which extend from the Wilayat of Dhalkout to the Wilayat of Mirbat, have been draped in greenery coupled with overflowing springs. During the Khareef season, monsoon in the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean brings in light rain, dew and fog in Dhofar.
