RNO OFFICER HONOURED IN EGYPT

Captain Ali bin Abdullah bin Mohammed al Shedi from the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) won the first place in the general ranking of resident officers in the national defence course held at Nasser Higher Military Academy ((NHMA) in Egypt. He is the first Omani officer to receive such an honour since the inception of NHMA. General Sedki Sobhy, Minister of Defence and Military Production in Egypt, bestowed the Order of Military Duty which is granted to the officers who excel in training and academics, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi in the presence of ministers, ambassadors, military attachés, and commanders of the Egyptian army.
