Biometric info must for Canada visa: MoHE

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has issued a notification to all students who wish to pursue studies in Canada. The Canadian government has amended the Immigration, Refugee Protection and Biometrics Information Act to all foreign nationals who apply for a visa for a study, visit, temporary or permanent residence visa to enter Canada. The citizens of the Sultanate will have to provide biometric information at the nearest visa application centre to enter Canada from July 1, 2018. Biometrics information include scanning of fingerprints and facial images. It is one of the most reliable ways to identify people and is used all over the world.
