Nearly 300 schoolbuses to have safety devices

Muscat : The Directorate General of Education in South Sharqiyah will inaugurate the phase of installing security and safety equipment in school buses on Sunday. The project that has been funded by the Omani LNG Company will cover 296 buses in the first phase. The systems will include an audio and video warning device to alert students and the bus driver and a tracking device to monitor the bus through an integrated program.
