VAT seminar for companies

MUSCAT: The Oman-American Business Center (OABC), in cooperation with Ernst & Young, will organise tomorrow (Monday) a seminar on the Value Added Tax (VAT) and the latest amendments to the tax law targeting companies. The seminar aims to increase the level of awareness of the institutions about the concept of taxation, its impact on their work and the importance of taking early action before applying it. The Sultanate is expected to implement VAT in the near future. The cooperation between the OABC and Ernst & Young will help companies know how to prepare for this procedure. — ONA
