300 school buses equipped with safety devices

Muscat: The Directorate General of Education in South Sharqiyah has started installing safety devices in 296 school buses with the support of the Oman LNG Company. These novel devices will include a GPS tracker, a controller to start and stop the bus, and a motion detection alarm system in case a student is left inside the bus.
