HM condolences to Emperor Akihito

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has sent a cable of condolences to Emperor Akihito of Japan on victims of the earthquake that hit Hokkaido island, northern Japan. In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to Emperor Akihito, families of the victims and the friendly Japanese people, wishing the injured quick recovery.
