Expatriate dies in Rustaq

MUSCAT: An Asian national died after a falaj collapsed over him in Rustaq, according to a Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) official. According to PACDA, the falaj was under maintenance. “A team from the public authority was able to remove a worker of an Asian nationality following the collapse of the falaj during maintenance work in Wadi Al-Sahtn in Wilayat Rustaq, which resulted in his death,” it said in a statement.
