BankMuscat recruits 221 Omanis in 2018

BankMuscat said it continues to strengthen the government’s efforts to provide job opportunities for Omani youth in the banking sector through their recruitment at various levels. Since the beginning of this year, BankMuscat has recruited 221 Omanis, including 207 job-seekers, bringing the total number of nationals deployed in various branches to 3,453.   The percentage of Omanization has reached 94.71, of which 48 per cent are women. Ahmed bin Fakir al Balushi, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources at BankMuscat, said “The bank, through its human resources department, pays attention to the safety and the health of its staff and their families by providing full health care for the employees and their family through agreements with the best and finest hospitals both within and outside the Muscat Governorate. He said the BankMuscat provides local and international opportunities for 465 staff members who wish to complete their studies by enrolling in the local colleges or in the graduate programs the leading institutes outside the Sultanate.
