New police station opens in Salalah

SALALAH: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) celebrated the opening of the new Auqad Police Station in Salalah as part of the police strategy aimed to facilitate the procedures and improve the services delivered to citizens. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Shaikh Salim bin Aufit al Shanfari, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality and attended by Maj Gen Hamad bin Sulaiman al Hatmi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations and a number of senior officers at ROP and the other military and security forces, shaikhs, dignitaries and citizens. — ONA
