Several illegal fishermen arrested in Masirah

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, in cooperation with the Ministry of Manpower and the support of the Royal Oman Police (ROP), carried out a campaign in Masirah to control the activity of illegal fishing.
Around 141 illegal expatriate fishermen were arrested for operating without a license and legal proceedings have been initiated against them.
