Firms can update records till Dec

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has allowed companies time till December to update their records. The ministry said that it has deleted the commercial records of companies that have no workforce and have not conducted their business activities for several years. The Ministry clarified that the number of completed commercial records reached 39,711 during the period from the beginning of 2017 till September 25 this year. The ministry allowed the owners of these records to cancel or liquidate their records without payment of delay penalties.
