4 drug smugglers arrested

LIWA: The Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances at North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested 4 people charged with smuggling drugs in collaboration with an international gang from the Wilayat of Liwa, said a Royal Oman Police official. The first and the second accused were found in possession of more than 80 kg of hashish besides morphine and tablets of psychotropic substances. The other two accused were arrested when attempting to recover the drugs which were hidden in secret spots in Liwa.
