ONHRC to celebrate rights day

Muscat: The National Human Rights Commission met on Monday to discuss preparations to mark the World Human Rights Day, which falls on December 10. The date marks the tenth anniversary of establishing ONHRC. The meeting was chaired by Shaikh Abdullah bin Shuwain al Hosni, Chairman of the Commission. The meeting also discussed the proposal of the national programme for child rights awareness at the education institutions.
