Sultanate to mark World Food Day

Muscat: The Sultanate will celebrate the World Food Day, which falls on October 16 each year. The World Food Day, a day declared by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), aims to raise public awareness about people suffering from hunger and encourages individuals and nations around the world to take measures against hunger.
