Four expats get jail, deportation sentences for Covid violations

Muscat: The Court of First Instance in the Governorate of South Al Batinah has convicted four resident offenders found guilty of violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from Covid-19 pandemic. The convicts, ambushed while assembling in a public place at the peak of the pandemic, were handed down a sentence of three months of prison and deportation from the Sultanate.  ONA
