Al Noor Association for the Blind gets its own building

Muscat: Shaikh Mohammed bin Saeed al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, opened the new premises of Al Noor Association for the Blind in Bausher on Wednesday.

The building built with the support from both public and private support, helps all visually-impaired people in the country to come under one roof and initiate programmes for their academic as well as intellectual development.

'We were operating from a rented premises for long time and with this new building, we are thankful to all those who supported us', Ibrahim Hamdoon al Harthy, Chairman of Al Noor Association for the Blind.

The construction of the building started in 2015.
