Mosquito control measures intensified in Muscat

Muscat: The Directorate General of Muscat Municipality has intensified its efforts of spraying to control the spread of mosquitoes.

A number of awareness meetings were held at the Osama bin Zaid Mosque and other areas how to deal with the situation safely and the role of society in such cases.

The control teams have been equipped with the necessary crew and equipment to cover all areas north of Hail and Mawaleh in Seeb to support coordinated efforts with other concerned parties like the Ministry of Health.
