Oman's longest zip-line to come up in Al Hamra

Muscat: The Ministry of Tourism signed an agreement to implement, operate and develop a zip line project in the village of Misfat al Abriyeen in Al Hamra with Al Masfah National Company, the Oman Refreshments Company, which will be the financing partner. The Ministry of Tourism will execute the project. 'The zip line project in Misfat al Abriyeen , which will be the longest of its kind in the Sultanate, aims to provide an option for those interested in this kind of adventure tourism activities. Some of the related tourist services will be developed later in the village under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Tourism,' the statement said. The signing of the agreement between the relevant authorities was held today under the Sayyid Adel bin al Mardas Al Busaidi, advisor of Tourism Affairs, who represented the Ministry at the signing agreement. Oman Refreshments Company, one of the leading companies in the Sultanate, said as per the corporate social responsibility it is committed to contribute to maximizing its support to sustainable community initiatives and projects.
