Al Wafa Rehabilitation Center for disabled children in Liwa to open tomorrow

Liwa: The Ministry of Social Development will celebrate tomorrow (Monday) the opening of Al Wafa Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children in the Wilayat of Liwa under the auspices of Shaikh Mohammed bin Saayid al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development.

The cost of the project is RO 250,000, and comes as part of the corporate social responsibility programme of Orpic, Sohar Aluminum, and Vale.

The project will provide rehabilitation services to more than 120 children with disabilities. It is also one of the social projects being implemnted in the Governorate of North Al Batinah in cooperation between the Ministry of Social Development and the Jusoor Foundation. --ONA
