MoAF launches research vessel

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries launched an advanced fish research boat as well as an atlas on fish of the Arabian Sea at the Aquarium and Marine Science and Fisheries Centre in Bandar Al Rawdha on Sunday. The launch ceremony was presided over by Dr Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Under-Secretary for Fisheries at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. Dr Lubna bint Hamood al Kharousiyah, Director-General of Fish Research, expressed her hope that the new research vessel Al Bustan will contribute to the development of the fish research in the Sultanate.
