4,298 vie for 400 jobs

MUSCAT: A total of 4,298 candidates appeared for job interviews last week for 400 vacant positions across governorates in the Sultanate. This was part of the Ministry of Manpower’s efforts to secure jobs for the nationals in the private sector. In the Al Buraimi Governorate, 133 job-seekers appeared for interviews for 34 positions at Mazoon Dairy Company, while 38 appeared for interviews at Al Seer Group and nine at Jal Electrical Services, both Muscat Governorate. In the North Al Batinah Governorate, 23 candidates were interviewed for different positions at Suhar Gulf Projects and nine at Jal Electrical Services. Forty-nine candidates were interviewed for recruitment at the Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Trade Company in Al Dakhiliyah, while 85 were interviewed for jobs in North Al Sharqiyah. — ONA
