Citizen arrested for hit-and-run death in Suwaiq

Khaboura: Police arrested a citizen on charges of running over a person in Al Mutamer in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq.
The accused, who fled after the accident, was arrested following intense search operations, a statement from the ROP said.
The victim died after the hit and run incident on October 4, 2018.
Legal actions have been taken against the accused and he was referred to the Public Prosecution.
