Omani women get equal rights to freedom of movement: MOSD

Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development (MOSD) has clarified on the Royal Decree 3/2019, which was issued on Tuesday. Royal Decree No. 3/2019 ratifies amendment to the 'Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women” and withdraws some of the Sultanate’s reservations to the agreement.' With this, both men and have the same rights under the law on the movement of people, and the freedom to choose their place and also the residence.
