Oman-UAE military exercise Cooperation-2 starts

Abu Dhabi: Oman-UAE joint military exercise Cooperation-2 started in United Arab Emirates on Sunday. The units of Royal Army of Oman and UAE army are taking part in the exercise. The exercise, which runs until February 14, includes a number of field training events in desert as well as carrying out tasks and duties. This exercise is part of the annual training programmes carried out by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) with other countries. Such exercises aim at increasing combat efficiency, developing leadership skills, exchanging experiences, activating training plans and joint exercises, and supporting joint military cooperation between the Sultanate and other countries.
