Bilateral ties renewed with Netherlands

THE HAGUE: The sixth round of political consultations between the Sultanate and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held in The Hague on Wednesday. The Omani side was headed by Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Dutch side was chaired by Joke Brandt, Secretary-General of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and the growing opportunities for partnership and investment between the two countries The meeting also promoted economic diversification and exchange of experiences in support of common interests and trade and cultural exchange. The two sides also discussed a range of current regional and international issues, developments and exchanged views. — ONA
