OETC issues $600 million, 10-year bond

Muscat: Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) said it has succeeded in attracting investors for its $600 million, 10-year bond in the international markets, at an interest rate of 5.800 percent. The proceeds of the bonds that will mature in February 2031, will be used to finance some of the current loans, finance the company's capital spending program, and implement infrastructure development plans in the Sultanate.
