Rains, dust storms expected in north Oman

Muscat: Oman Meteorology has said there is a possibility of sporadic rainfall on some northern governorates of the sultanate, including thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday. 'With moderate to active south-east winds over the next two days on most of the governorates there is a possibility of rising dust in the open and desert areas, the sea waves on most coasts to be two meters on average,' it said.
