Expat arrested for disrespecting currency

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) in Sharqiya North arrested an expatriate for disrespecting the national currency. In a statement online, the ROP said that the person was arrested following a video going viral on social mediea, showing him disdaining the national currency in the governorate of Sharqiyah, in Sinaw.
Meanwhile, legal actions will be taken against him.
