Omanis urged to take note of new overstaying charges in Indonesia

Muscat: The Sultanate's Embassy in Jakarta has warned citizens travelling to Indonesia to take note of the increase in overstaying charges after the expiry of their visa.
The Embassy has urged Omani travellers to Indonesia for more than 30 days to avail the Visa on Arrival at the airport.
Starting May 3,  foreign nationals overstaying in Indonesia will be charged Rp 1 million per day to Rp 300,000 per day to reduce the number of overstays. the Indonesian official said.
