First day of Muharram to be public holiday in Oman

Muscat: The first day of Muharram 1441H will be an official leave for employees of private and public sector companies, institutions and establishments under the provisions of the Labour Law.
The announcement was officially made by the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Civil Service through Oman News Agency (ONA) on Sunday.
