40 expatriates arrested for violating labour law

Muscat: Officials from the Ministry of Manpower carried out an inspection on Tuesday against expatriate workers in Al-Khuwair for violating provisions of the Labour law. Legal procedures were initiated against 42 workers, who were arrested for working in a number of stores, washing cars in public parking, selling fish on the streets.
