MOCI waives mandatory Arabic labeling on products

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has temporarily permitted the import of food products that have English language labeling in case
of non-availability of production information written in the Arabic language.
At the same time, it is important that products meet the Sultanate’s health safety standard specifications.
The decision will take effect from Sunday, April 5 until further notice.
