10,000 heads of sheep received from Australia

Muscat: As many as 10,000 heads of sheep arrived from Australia and undergoing veterinary quarantine to ensure they are clear of diseases, said an official at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries on Wednesday. The consignment has been part of efforts made by the Ministry in cooperation with national companies to supply the local market with live cattle and sheep, the official added. --ONA   [gallery ids='616154,616153']
