Al Baleed Culinary Arts Festival opens in Salalah

SALALAH: The Al Baleed Culinary Arts Festival 2026 opened at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara in Dhofar Governorate, bringing together internationally acclaimed chefs, including culinary experts recognised by the Michelin Guide, alongside Omani and other international chefs.
Running until the end of November, the festival features joint cooking demonstrations, showcasing a blend of international culinary techniques and traditional Omani cuisine. Omani chefs are presenting local dishes and flavours, while visitors can also enjoy live cultural and artistic performances and specialised experiences in preparing sweets inspired by traditional Omani ingredients.
Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Dhofar Municipality and Amwaj, the festival aims to bring international culinary arts together with the authenticity of Omani cuisine, further strengthening Salalah's position as a destination for tourism, hospitality and culinary experiences. - ONA
