Al Bashayer overturned a half-time deficit to defeat Seeb 77–57 in the 2026–27 Oman Basketball League, producing a dominant final quarter to secure their first two points of the campaign.
Trailing 33–29 at the interval, Al Bashayer regained the lead in the third period before outscoring Seeb 23–7 in the fourth to complete an impressive comeback at the secondary hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.

Little separated the teams in an evenly contested opening quarter, with both sides enjoying spells of control before Al Bashayer edged ahead 17–16.
Seeb responded in the second period, improving their attacking execution and drawing level at 24–24 midway through the quarter. Their growing effectiveness around the basket helped them take the initiative, winning the period 17–12 to establish a four-point half-time advantage.
CLOSE FIGHT
The contest remained closely fought after the restart as both teams attacked at pace. Al Bashayer gradually erased the deficit, drawing level at 43–43 before the scores were tied again at 48–48.
Al Mahrouqi then landed a three-pointer to put Al Bashayer ahead. Rashid al Zuhaibi replied with two points for Seeb, but a further three-pointer from Hendricks gave Al Bashayer a 54–50 lead heading into the final quarter.
That late surge proved the platform for a decisive finish. Al Bashayer tightened their defence and continued to convert their attacking opportunities, stretching the advantage to 62–52 as Seeb struggled to keep pace.
With momentum firmly in their favour, Al Bashayer maintained the pressure at both ends of the court. Seeb managed only seven points in the closing period, allowing their opponents to pull clear and turn a competitive encounter into a convincing 20-point victory.
Al Bashayer outscored Seeb 48–24 across the second half, with their defensive discipline and scoring consistency after the interval proving decisive.
